Technology vs. Consciousness

As humans we love our technology.  It adds convenience and excitement to our lives.  And we are adopting it as fast as it comes out for the most part.

Soon seemingly everything in our lives will be connected with technology.   The Internet of Things (IoT) is a term being used to describe part of it.

Recently while picking out some stocks to buy I was researching Tesla Motors Inc. and enjoyed learning about the unassuming Elon Musk.  If you have not heard of him yet you likely will at some point.  He was one of the cofounders of Paypal and Tesla Motors and created some other companies including SpaceX which is involved in space transportation and exploration and has contracts with Nasa.   He is a very likeable guy, speaks softly, thinks and dreams big and brings his passions into reality.  Richard Branson and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos are pursuing space transportation as well.

And it is exciting to watch as it unfolds.  (Yes I did buy some TSLA stock)

Having said that it is worth mentioning that this development and advancement of technology that humanity is choosing is not the only way we can evolve, grow and explore.   Where do you think the inter-dimensional factors of the universe come from?  They come from us.  What is within us.

An example is teleportation.  Eventually there will be technology that will allow people to travel to other points of time-space on the planet and other places.  It will not be for a while but it is coming if we survive as a species.

Or there is the other way to teleport.  Through a shift in consciousness.  Without the use of technology.  In communication, telepathy and our sense of knowing is another (unused) ability we have forgone, choosing instead cell phones, texting, etc.

Like everything it will come down to what we choose.   Collectively and individually.  It is not an ‘either-or’ scenario and I am not saying do not use technology.  Embrace it in whatever way you will but choose how you will use it in your daily life and be aware of your choices.  Do not use it as a way to disempower yourself.  Do not give your power away to technology or think it is the only way.   Remember it is only a tool.

Technology of any kind has its limits and will only take us so far.  The alternative is to explore what is within.
