I love the clean line drawings of Picasso and Matisse.  There is an ease, clarity and simplicity that shines through.

Picasso lived an interesting life.   As a young man struggling to make ends meet during frigid Paris winters with his art, friends, and women to keep him warm.  And later in life much time spent in the sun, a master of his craft, immensely successful and still exploring into a ripe older age.

I remember reading or hearing about a tidbit from Picasso’s life that stuck in my mind.  That he would go into the local grocer or shops and of course everyone knew who he was.  And instead of money he would often just scribble out a doodle as a form of payment.  I like that idea a lot.

The energy we are extends into the world and creates.
